The history of Jacob’s Ladder extends back to April, 1988 when the bookstore was founded by Nancy Hennel and Harriet Dorland. Bill and Denise felt called to purchase it from its second owners, Bob and Lynn Sitton, making it a family business. Since then, Bill and Denise have used their business and retailing experience to expand the store. As Bill and Denise look to the future they pray for God’s blessing and guidance, and they are dedicated to providing a Christian bookstore where the Holy Spirit is felt, the Lord is received and the customers grow in Christ. Our mission is to passionately serve to glorify the Lord and spread the Good News of the Gospel through our Christ-honoring products and service.
